Over many years I have gone out to small and large events to advertise my work and try and offer something for a broad range of budgets.  The picture here was taken at the Devon County Show  four years ago and is typical of the scene where I paint work in progress and stop and chat to passing visitors who have an interest in the animal subjects I paint. It inspires me to hear people’s personal accounts of their beloved animals,  their characters and adventures. I try and capture these memories and while original art can be more  than some can afford, there are many ways of providing affordable  images of my art  on to items people can use and treasure. This Saturday I am outside again undercover with Tavi Arts in Tavistock’s Bedford Square and hope to see you there. If not please visit my website at www.richardalbon.co.uk and tell me what you think.
