With so many animals arriving at rescue centres this time of the year it is great to meet people who rehome these unfortunates. Lottie and Archy are two Cardigan Corgis who arrived at their new home last year. Around thirteen years old they have been together since they were very young, but after their previous owner fell ill and could no longer look after them, life got very difficult.
I met Lottie and Archy early this year when the new owners invited me to commission a drawing for them and I was amazed how well they had settled in to their new home. They look very well for their advanced years and had no trouble moving around the garden at great speed. The drawing illustrated was a great success and well received.
